Michael is a freelance photojournalist located in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. Since age 9, photography has been his passion. It was then that his family gifted him with a used Polaroid camera. Their inability to sometimes afford film did not deter him. On occasion, he could be seen walking in his neighborhood framing scenes with his hands or arranging objects and pretend shooting them.
In 1999, he bought his first 35mm SLR or single lens reflex camera and enrolled in a basic photography course at Baltimore City Community College. After being told often by those who processed his film "You have the eye", he began learning advanced techniques. Ultimately, he landed his first wedding job, launching his career.
Today Michael specializes in capturing candid images at events, focusing on lighting and angle to provide a unique perspective for his clients.
